Kids clothing needs to be tough and waterproof for longer periods of time. When kids ski all day then have snow ball fights afterward and they are rolling around in the snow "water resistant" just doesn't cut it. With Spyder's "waterproof" clothing our son stays dry and warm. We just hang the jacket up and in the morning it is ready to go again. Spyder gear has exceptional styling which sets it apart from other manufacturers who make good functional clothing but they are just short on style.
As an engineer, I have come to understand the value of quality. We live in Florida and vacation in Colorado. Cold, wet kids are not happy; buy the right stuff and be happy.

At first I thought it would be too small for my youngster but he absolutely adores the jacket. He says he looks like "money" in it. It's a beautiful bright green. I just bought him a pair of Nike Dunks to go with the matching green. Perfect combo.

What a fabulous jacket. The zip out fleece liner makes this coat the best for Minnesota winters. You get 3 coats in 1 ! Fit is great, quality is awesome. Highly recommend !!!

These gloves are very nice. I like the fact that they are soft and my daughter is able to use her hands with them on.
My only concern is the velcro on the sides. I'm hoping they stay shut and snow doesn't get inside. The velcro does make it very easy to get them off and on!
Very cute gloves and I like the green color!!
*Size estimate* I ordered a Medium for my 4 year old and they fit nicely. Roomy, but not huge!

These are nice gloves, but I do have a few concerns about the design. Although the velcro is great for getting them on and off, I worry the snow is going to make it's way in. I'm sure they are warm as long as the snow stays out.
As far as sizes go, I purchased the XL for my avg. sized 6 year old and they are way too small. However, they are the perfect size for my small 4 year old.

Although the winter weather hasn't hit quite yet :-), these are a nice, warm pair of gloves. They are an excellent, quality glove with enough of a cuff to tuck in the jacket and velcro to keep the snow out. It also has a nice, soft pigskin palm. I'm very pleased with these and the price is GREAT.

My 9 year-old daughter wore these pants skiing all last year. We have them in black and they literally look brand new! My mother couldn't even tell we had used them; that's how good the fabric is. These were the ski pants of choice over her Spyder bibs. They are not bulky, but are warm and flexible. My daughter wore them with Icebreaker wool long underwear under them. She was never cold, even on the coldest ski days. These will be passed down many times.

This coat is so well made. It is more tailored than most other kids' coats and is not bulky. All of the buttons, zippers and pulls seem higher quality than the usual kid's coat too. It is also really warm.
