I use them as a quick pull-on when I am taking my dog out. They are comfortable and warm, but very hard to pull on with socks - even thin ones. Bare feet and nylons no trouble. They rub on back of legs, but I don't have them on very long. Good tread for treacherous icy or frozen fog walking.
