11-17-11 IMMEDIATE OPENING: E-Commerce Sales Associate in our Ft. Lauderdale Office

We are a lively group of internet-savvy people who are looking for another person to join our customer service team. You’ll help customers shop for gear, resolve problems, answer customer inquiries, and help develop ways for us to better serve our customers.

We are looking for driven people who want to get involved and help us make changes and find efficiencies.

This is a Part Time temporary position - shifts vary during December and January including weekends, during our busy season.  

To Qualify You Should Have:

  • Call center or retail experience, especially in outdoor, a huge plus
  • Proven ability to proactively solve problems
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
  • 6 months related experience (or educational equivalent)
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Some online and computer experience (type >30 WPM)

  • Be knowledgeable and/or experienced with ski and/or snowboard equipment and clothing, and be able to communicate that knowledge
  • Be able to assist in store merchandising; be helpful in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of store
  • Be a self-starter, able to take responsibility for learning new aspects of the business
  • Be supportive as a team member
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English; ability to speak other languages always a plus

11-15-11 IMMEDIATE OPENING: Merchandise Payables

We have an immediate opening in our Accounting Department for an experienced Payables Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, date stamp and separate your mail daily.
  • Match receivers and packing slips to invoices.
  • Review receivers and invoices for validity and accuracy.
  • Receive into Celerant if necessary.
  • Communicate with location managers.
  • Match credits from vendors with debit memos and RAs.
  • Research & follow up on debit memos and RAs.
  • Review & research items pending in the location folders.
  • Code and post invoices in MAS 90.
  • Send invoices for approval.
  • Review & research oddities & discrepancies on the invoice payment selection report, and take credits if applicable.
  • Check printing. (1st, 10th, 20th)
  • Submit checks for signature.
  • Prepare checks for mailing.
  • Filing.
  • Communicate with vendors and document in Vendor Notes.
  • Reconcile vendor statements weekly.
  • Reconcile Celerant inventory to MAS 90 monthly.
  • Maintain Shipping Violation Log. 

Off season responsibilities:
  • Posting journal entries for intercompany accounts.
  • Collect checks for outstanding credit memos.
