"Great helmet, excellent service, great value, fast delivery!"

I found this Smith helmet the week before I was flying out to Crested Butte. I called Peter Glenn and they did not have the model in stock, but the retail clerk was very helpful and told me that they almost always delivered the next day. I enjoyed converting to a helmet after skiing for over 35 years without one. The helmet experience far exceeded my expectations.

The elastic that goes around the eye opening on this 686 Balaclava snapped and the material around it is now unraveling after first use. Poor quality, too expensive.

"Great look, very warm and waterproof, but faulty zipper"

I love the look of this Roxy snowboard jacket! It's the coolest thing on the slopes! The first time I wore it everyone stopped me to ask me where I had gotten it. It's incredibly unique in color and pattern, and you definitely stand out on the slopes. It was very warm and waterproof. I was very comfortable boarding in 14 degree weather in Breckenridge with blowing snow while wearing this jacket. If you want a jacket that is very warm, waterproof and looks great on the slopes, then this is the jacket for you. But, you should carefully inspect the zipper teeth when you first get the product to ensure no defects. One of the teeth in my zipper fell out, but I may have just purchased a defective jacket, and the other jackets in this design may be fine. It's a bummer, too, because I loved the jacket, otherwise.

"Mixed bag"

These Burton snowboard shorts are both good and not so much. The material is inadequate, even the least expensive cycling shorts have better material. I got a small with a 30" waist. One day of wearing and they sag in the legs. Regretfully, it doesn't breathe so you get sweaty under each patch.

"Works well but make sure that your pants will fit with them on"

As a beginner, these Burton shorts definitely helped protect my hips and tail bone from the icy falls. Just make sure that your pants are large enough because the hip pads actually made it a bit tough to put on my pants. So if your pants are a snug fit, then I recommend wearing larger pants with these.

"Lovin it"

I was looking for shell pants to be able to adjust thermal interior lining to different conditions. These Burton snowboard pants are perfect. I needed pants for snowboarding and also ice cave hiking. These feel great and have room for my curves.

"You get what you pay for!"

I always used to ride soft boots, but after braking my ankle I had a hard time riding my toe edge. I switched from Burton Hail to SLX and one thing I have noticed is that it is an absolutely different ride. It is a bit harder to spin out and jump but the level of stability and comfort is amazing... It take some time to brake it in and I had to heat form it to my foot(it did help a lot) Riding toes on it is a breeze. The level of support of excellent. After riding for 6-7 hours my feet and ankle is not feeling tired at all. This are definitely the most comfortable boots I have ever had. Also, I was riding in it in temp of 0F and my feet never got cold.

"Not true mittens"

They are mittens made to feel like gloves, because the liner has separate fingers. So it has all the inconvenience of mittens, and none of the warmth.

"Comfortable, warm and expandable. "

These 686 snowboard pants are awesome! They are comfortable, warm and expandable. 686 makes a feature for kids that allows you to remove a seam in the legs and add 1½ inches in length and one in the waist to add space there. Thank you 686! Genius idea that will save you money because you can get more use out of these before they grow out of them. My daughter rode these for a week and they show no signs of wear. Great product!
