"A lot of great features, some negatives"

This Spyder ski jacket has lots of pockets (1 with a snapped-in chamois, 1 with a hook clasp; inners on both sides, one w/zipper, 1 sleeve pocket). It also has a well-shaped, protective hood, especially with the fur. But, it is not helmet-compatible. This ski jacket has cool style details, and underarm arm vents. Some negatives for me are that some pockets are not well positioned for access. Also, the accent piping is in crinkle-cut rainbow with clumsily-rendered spiders. And the collar is a bit stiff when zipped up. The fit is slim, I bought the size 12, and I am 5' 10" and the sleeves are just barely long enough. It is not really comfortable for me to use the thumbholes in the wrist gaiters, but that material is just a wee bit scratchy anyway.

"Fit great!"

I'm a 5'0, 90 pound female and these pants fit me great. The legs are a little baggy, but that's probably perfect for the boys these are meant to fit.

"Sleek quality jacket"

The Kjus Domain ski jacket is meticulously crafted and you can see and feel the quality as soon as you put it on. It has far too many features to list, but Kjus has thought of everything (except making the powder skirt REMOVABLE). It definitely fits closer to the body than the typical ski jacket of the same size, but that's what I wanted: less bulk and a sleeker look. My ski trips for the season are over so I haven't gotten to use it out in the cold yet, but I can tell you that when I throw handfuls of water on the jacket to test it that all the water just bounces off. I also chose this jacket over the Kjus Formula jacket because while quite similar, this jacket (Domain) has PrimaLoft 1 in the body whereas the Formula does not and, in addition, this jacket has a 30,000 /50,000 waterproof/breathability rating, while the Formula "only" has a 20,000 / 20,000 rating.

"Lime fabric snags but warm and comfortable"

My son really enjoyed skiing in these pants. It was spring skiing in CO so we didn't test them during the midwest polar vortex, but they were very comfortable and adjustable. The bright color made him easy to see. I am returning them for a different color, however, b/c the lime green fabric snags and pills exceedingly easily making it look ragged and old. The pilling appeared almost immediately in random places under the jacket, between the legs, and near any velcro on the pants. The fabric also snags and thread tags appeared. This is not a shiny nylon but a softer, looser weave. Pretty, but it doesn't hold up very well all things considered. Based on customer service, I'm not the only one with this issue. CS was very helpful and gracious and are allowing me to exchange them for the red, which I have been told appears to be a different fabric and a tighter weave. I love that Obermeyer has I-Grow extendable cuffs.

"Very flattering"

This is probably one of the most beautiful ski jackets I have ever owned. It is well made, the color is gorgeous and it is functional. Definitely well worth the price. I also love the fact that it fits perfectly. Being only 5'3" and a size 10, this Obermeyer jacket is quite flattering.

"Typical fantastic Descente quality"

The quality of construction and materials used is typical of Descente ski pant, fantastic. The only thing I'd like to have are thigh ventilation zips for those warmer days.

"Great fit"

This ski pant looks and feels great. Not too heavy for warm ski days - and warm enough for cold ski days. I only wish the black zippers were positioned differently.

"Lightweight and warm"

This Columbia top is so lightweight and it keeps me really warm. I bought it because I ride a motorcycle and needed something to keep me warm and something that was not bulky and this was the perfect solution. The Columbia Omni heat is so lightweight, I totally recommend this.

"Great quality"

A complete ski jacket for any weather. The quality of Killtec is second to none, plenty of pockets, well insulated for warmth (without bulk), and ample fit for my 5'9.5" height and 155 lbs, wide shoulders and long arms. Sleeve length galore. A bright hot-pink accented in black, provides easy visibility on the slope. Very happy with the purchase which will be next season's joy.
