Best. Boot. Bag. Ever!!! Top notch quality; excellent construction and can easily hold a lot of gear. Also, great buy for the money.
So I saw this jacket online and loved it with all its features, and the green color!
So I looked at sizing, and based on my measurements (5'7", 39 chest, 32 waist, 32 sleeve) I ordered a Medium. The jacket came and it was like a huge dress on me...the length came down to almost my mid thighs, and the sleeves were bulky, nice feel but no way could I wear it.
So thankfully I went back online and found the small, so ordered it. It arrived today and I legitimately thought it was the same exact size when I tried it on. Same length, same bulkiness, same baggy feel. What gives?? On the tag it says EU/M US/S. In no way is this a European cut jacket, nor does it fit that way. I tend to go for more of a slimmer more body fit, so was excited about this jacket and it's features. Unfortunately I now have to send back both items to PG (self paid) and not enjoy the jacket at all.
This ski system was nimble with good edge hold on all but the most granular boilerplate on the front side, but that is where my carving needs all the help it can get. Great hold with even just a dusting on top of the scraped groomers. Very quick edge to edge but forgiving in many ways. Big surprise on the back side, with very confident turning on the steeps, in the deep. Wasn't expecting that. Geometry encouraged me to ski them closer together in unstable or inconsistent pow and the manners came right back. Very impressed with the ski overall. Compares very favorably with the Atomic Alibi but that one got the nod for availability with an extra few centimeters (187 on the Alibi versus 181 in the RTM84). I'm 5'10" and 180.
The Volkl Fitting ski pants do just that---They really fit and perform perfectly. The ability to order both by waist size and inseam really helps to get the exact right fit. The 4 way stretch material and leg vents give the pants great performance and comfort. A really outstanding product.
This Volkl ski jacket is warm, non-restrictive, giving you full range of motion. It's a perfect fit, true to size, and a cool looking ski jacket.
Im 6ft 4" and 200lbs and the XXL was too tight and too short at the waist. It is the first time a size XXL has been small on me, but I reordered the 4XL, so we will see what happens. This Volkl ski jacket seems like a nice jacket but it definitely runs small.
If you see a huge man skiing slowly down the hill that would be me. I needed a new ski jacket and this would have been stylish and perfect so I ordered the 4XL. It looked great, however, it was like 6-9 inches too narrow to even zip up.
I normally wear a large jacket but I needed an XL in this jacket. This Jacket is very comfortable.
I demo-ed quite a few skis, but had so much fun on the Yumi's. I thought the Yumi's I tried were 156" (I'm 5.5" and 122 lbs), but it turned out that they were a 154". I'm an intermediate/advanced skier I'd say (mainly blues, double blues and some blacks), and would have loved a pair say at about 158cm but they either come in 154cm or 161cm, and the 161cm were just a bit too long, by about 3cm.
These skis are so light but are great on groomers and crud. Haven't tried them on powder yet due to the lack of snow, but hopefully soon.
I'm not an expert on skis, but I highly recommend these skis. Lots of fun!
good quality, good price, for cold weather under helmet or alone. plus, looks nice
