"Very comfortable, high performance boot"

I bought this boot in December 2011 and skied it the next day at Alta in Utah. It is by far the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. While being comfortable, it was by no means sloppy. I have owned Tecnica's and Lange's for the past 10 years and they crushed my feet. I used to unbuckle my boots on every lift ride. This year, I left them buckled from the time I arrived until we left for the day. My feet did not get cold and the boots never cut off circulation. If you have never had a comfortable pair of ski boots, I strongly suggest trying these boots. Rossignol has created a wider boot for, I guess, people like me with wide feet. Couldn't be happier.

"I love this jacket but had to only give it four stars"

The jacket is absolutely beautiful with fabulous detailing. The reason that I gave it 4 stars is that it does lack some functionality. There are no pockets at all and this is ski wear. I realize that the addition of pockets could have interfered with the lettering detail, but they should have figured something out in the construction. Also, I purchased it on the sale price which was a great price for this jacket.

"This is a great hat"

This hat is warm and wind proof, and looks great on my head. The hat has classic retro look and I like wearing it with a scarf and top coat. It was a great buy!

"Runs really small"

I've been collecting JCC Rossignol pieces since he first started doing the line with Rossi. The line has always run small. Even though I wear a size 6 in most clothing, I usually would wear a size medium in JCC. I ordered the medium and found it very tight, especially under the arms where I need range of motion. It is probably because there is 10% Elastane (Spandex) in this top. It may have been ok for street wear, but as a ski mid-layer, it was way too uncomfortable. I tried it on with nothing underneath, although when I ski, I wear a compression base layer. This means that it would have been even tighter. I am an advanced-expert skier. I love fashion. The JCC line has always been my favorite. I normally wear Kjus Formula pants with a lot of my JCC pieces. I just purchased a JCC soft shell from Peter Glenn which I love. This top just didn't do it for me. They were out of the Large, so I couldn't exchange it, but the Large might have been a poor fit. I hope they don't use this fabric combination next season. I weigh 107 pounds and wear a size 6, this doesn't make a lot of sense.

"Good carvibility, extreme versatility "

I have been skiing with these for 2 seasons now in the maritimes, Canada. The snow we get is never consistent: ranging from mushy heavy stuff to hard ice. These skis have been able to handle it all. They are damp, and barely chatter - unfortunately that means they are less springy edge to edge. They grip on any surface when I turn, and also handled well in powder (on a few rare powder days). The interchangeable arms are a nice substitute to owning two pairs of skis. The difference of soft/hard arms are noticeable. Bindings are easily adjustable, and haven't let me down.

Strengths: Versatility, Holds a mean carve, stable and damp ski at speed

Weaknesses: Heavyish (edge to edge is not super quick)

"Super fitting, ultra thin, plenty warm!"

I originally purchased these because they were the only pants with fully taped seams and the waterproof/breathable & insulation numbers I wanted. I have to say I bought the right pants. These are super thin, fit fantastically, and have a great range movement. Usually I have the zip vents open as they are plenty warm with 1 base layer underneath. One thing to mention is mine have a white rossignol R insignia on the side at the right knee which is about 1 1/2 inch diameter. I like it but it may put other people off.

"Great performance in the cold"

The jacket is very well put together and on its own is sufficiently warm for most days. The chin guard is rubberized in the front against your chin and can be annoying fully zipped up (so I wear a neck gaiter) but beyond that it's comfortable. The microfleece is comfortable on cold skin, rather than being abrasive like many others in cold weather. The hood is roomy and has some insulation in it and a good field of view; probably too small for a helmet though. It has a wide range of movement without being baggy. I haven't tried it out in super wet conditions but it is totally windproof. The sleeve extensions are a nice touch with gloves.

Like most ski jackets, I worry about it's durability. A personal thing, but I'd rather have snaps in the front wind flap rather than velcro that wears out over time.

I wear a 42 or 44R suit, usually L sized clothing. 5'11 200 pounds. I bought this coat in M for something more form fitting, still no problems moving around. So far, its been an excellent coat for skiing and getting around in my town, which is one of the coldest capital cities in the world :)
