I bought these boots size 6.5 & tried them out this weekend. I was disappointed in how wide the space in the toe area was. The BOA got loose so I have to stop my run & tighten them up a lot. Over all, I like the boots but not sure if I would recommend them to someone else. I would also look for a double BOA boot that's not too wide in the toe space.
A reasonably stiff boot with a Boa lace and Intuition liner. The liner is comfy and warm, but does benefit from the addition of a custom footbed. These fit true to size. The lacing is simple and quick. The inner liner has a handy snap for the inner lacing lock device. The cable tends to tighten at a higher tension near the Boa ratchet, therefore, your ankle and leg will be the tightest portion of the boot. Compared to a ski boot it's similar to a 90 so it's pretty comfy over a full day of riding. Don't rest your snowboard on your boot during the chairlift ride as the edge will weaken the Boa cable strands and they will fray - replacements are free from Boa, but it's easy to avoid the hassle of ordering and re-threading by treating your boot carefully.
I use these with K2 ctc cinch and Flow NXT bindings - no issues.
I like: the colour, the fit (true to size), the lacing system. But most of all the fact that I could put the boots on with minimal foot squishing, prodding, shoving and poking. I could easily tighten them and walk.
The bindings are great. Really stiff if you like that (which I do). Lots more control than my old ones and a long lasting feel since many parts are metal.
Bindings are all we had hoped! Christmas gift to my 23 year old son.
He said they were fabulous. Best part is I ordered on Dec. 21st and arrived before Christmas!!!
These bindings are amazing. I got them for Christmas and just went riding on Jan. 2 for the first time since last season... and I didn't even feel rusty at all! These binding were so light, comfortable, and strong that I didn't even think about them and I could just concentrate on my riding! I would definitely recommend these!
Extremely comfortable boots. The arch feels a little funky at first but after the first half hour I wore them they felt great. Very warm. I like the internal boot tightening system for the liner. The only downside with these boots is that I ripped the strap on the back pulling them on the 2nd time I wore them. It's a flimsy piece of synthetic leather I think, and it just straight ripped. If it can't be fixed I'll just wear them and deal with it - I really don't wanna be without these super comfy boots.
Awesome bindings !! I can focus more on my riding, and I don't have to deal with any discomfort.
These boots are extremely comfortable and durable. Your feet stay warm and dry all day. Nuff said...
