"Polarmax is great, but I prefer the 4-way stretch"

My purchase of Polarmax was to get a second set for my family's next ski trip. Polarmax is an incredible base layer - comfort and warmth! We were in some very cold Canadian ski days, and never chilled. We use the 4-way stretch Polarmax product instead of this one, as we prefer a base layer that is second-skin (max warmth). Polarmax 4-way stretch fits like running tights, no baggy excess fabric, and incredible comfort. This version is not 4-way stretch, is incredibly oversized, and has a super low crotch. They may be warm and technical fabric, but I don't like the design.

"Works but very tight"

This is very warm, but like spandex it fits super tight and tends to ride up. I prefer the Chilly peppers for comfort.

"Great fit, great performance!"

I replaced my old thermals which were too short and not stretchy enough. These were like a second skin. Long enough to tuck into my ski pants and never came untucked. Perfect wicking base layer under a fleece and ski jacket for skiing in 25-30 degree weather in Santa Fe, NM.

"Can't wear them alone"

I didn't like these. They have a thin fabric. In a size small the waist was too high (I'm 5'3" 125 lbs). The elastic waistband looked old ladyish. These would be ok if no one ever had to see them, they would add warmth. I wanted to wear them alone & would never do that.

"Good choice for winter sports thermal"

Material not as thick as I thought it would be when it says double layer, but warm enough. Fits snugly close to skin, not baggy at all, just right to slip under even tight ski pants. Good value.

"Short Sleeves"

Bought this product and matching pants for my 5ft5in size 0 granddaughter for an upcoming ski trip. Shirt and sleeve length were so ridiculously short that I had to return the top. Pants fit just fine. Polarmax needs to do something about this bad sizing!

"Excellent and versatile"

Comfortable, warm, form-fitting. It was exactly what I was looking for. Not only is it functional (I'm planning on using it on our Himalayan trek), but I wear it with my jacket for business travel as well.
