I am a huge Merrell fan, from shoes to clothing, and had previously never seen a jacket like this in their line. I loved the style, so I ordered it. It is just as good as any other Merrell product I have purchased; well made, great attention to detail, and really nice fabric. It fits me well, and is toasty warm. The only "con" is that the color of the buttons flakes off, which is annoying, since I haven't even washed it yet. I may have to replace the buttons with something that won't flake.
Awesome boot! I originally purchased the standard version at full retail price. I wore them for a week in Colorado snow conditions. Then I came across the "thermo" version of the boot at half the cost on sale at Peter Glenn. I was concerned that the thermo version would be too warm for the summer in Colorado. We get over 300 days of sunshine per year and the summer days are often in the 90's. I've worn them this winter, nice and warm. On the warmer days, they are very comfortable, not too hot on the feet at all.
Nice, aggressive tread, extremely comfortable and stylish looks. I feared this would only be a winter boot, but I know that it will serve me well all year round. My question was standard or thermo? You will be pleased with either. In my opinion, the thermo will be more versatile in the long run. Not much difference between the two styles. Enjoy them as I am!

I love the look of these shoes, which is what caught my eye in the first place. They are very comfortable as well. That is very important to me as I struggle with back pain if I don't wear good shoes. I would recommend these highly!

They only come in strange colors, but they feel so gooooood on your feet. Literally fits like a glove.
If you are looking for a warm winter boot, this is it. Warm in sub-zero temps. Good for running around town or more rugged use. True to size. Worth the money.
This is one of my favorite shoes. So light and comfy you can run all day. I love long boarding with the Bare Access, the shoe allows you to have complete feel of the board while providing a flat secure feeling. When they get smelly toss them in the washer machine, perfect.
Love these boots! Worn in snowy and wet ski village in Canada. These withstood all the elements. Icy ground covered with layers of slush and snow. My husband was slipping in his boots and I kept my footing in these. Before wearing I couldn't see how they would be waterproof, but they kept my feet totally dry & warm. I got the dark brown. Favorite shoe for all of Spring Break. The uppers seem a bit stiff putting them on but causes no problems. Worn under ski pants and tucked in skinny jeans - excellent - great purchase. Wish I could keep wearing them after returning home but no snow here! Good luck shopping.
Feels like it will be warm enough. Has a different feel on the bottom, but for snowshoeing it shouldn't matter. I ordered a 1/2 size up from my regular size which makes them the same size as another pair of Merrells I have. I'm slightly concerned that it might be a bit snug with a SmartWool or similar sock, but after break-in I think it will settle to size.
