"Great shoe"

Looking for a waterproof shoe that I could wear in Ireland this fall. I have a wide foot, and although; Merrell Moab did not come in a wide- the rounded toe gives me plenty of room. Breaking them in at the gym, hiking and zip lining. Comfortable and a great fit.

"Returning - not a good fit."

I am returning these Moab hiking shoes, they are not as comfortable as my old Merrell hiking boots that I love.

"One of the best for it's price"

I've had this Merrell boot for about 7 months now and I must say it is the best hiking/all round boot I've ever had. After many intense hikes and walking through water, snow, sludge etc. it's yet to show any signs of wear. The traction on it is amazing and the water-proof covering works like a charm.

"Very comfortable, but looks bulky in person"

I need hiking boots and I hoped for comfort and style. I prefer to not give up comfort for style or vice versa. I was a bit disappointed with the looks of this boots. They look much better in the picture, but I decided to keep them because they are very comfortable. I purchased a pair of Merrell Azura that look much better in person, not bulky and very comfortable. I guess the Salida is so bulky because it's designed to be very cushy. Also, another surprise was that Azura feels more breathable to me, although Salida is advertised as more breathable.

"Comfortable and easy to slip on"

The zippered boots are very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. No more soggy shoe strings... Non laced shoes are a new favorite of mine.

"Warm and comfortable but they break down quick"

This is a great boot, it is very comfortable, warm and water proof. I bought a pair last year and I worked in them all winter. They were more comfortable than my work shoes, so I wore them all summer but they broke down in fall. The left shoe separated from the sole and now leaks! I am so sad, I want to buy a new pair but maybe I'll try the shiver boot.

"Love them!"

These are very light weight shoes. I had to give them a 4 instead of a 5 because the bottom is real thin. I guess that's why they are called barefoot. I put inserts in them to feel a little more cushion on the bottom. Very nice looking shoe!

"Typical Merrell - Great Quality"

Been buying Merrell for 20 years and every one has been a good-to-great shoe. This is a great shoe new, ask me again in 2 years to see how it holds up.

"Fabulous Sweater/Fleece Jacket"

I am a huge Merrell fan, from shoes to clothing, and had previously never seen a jacket like this in their line. I loved the style, so I ordered it. It is just as good as any other Merrell product I have purchased; well made, great attention to detail, and really nice fabric. It fits me well, and is toasty warm. The only "con" is that the color of the buttons flakes off, which is annoying, since I haven't even washed it yet. I may have to replace the buttons with something that won't flake.

"Highly recommend"

Awesome boot! I originally purchased the standard version at full retail price. I wore them for a week in Colorado snow conditions. Then I came across the "thermo" version of the boot at half the cost on sale at Peter Glenn. I was concerned that the thermo version would be too warm for the summer in Colorado. We get over 300 days of sunshine per year and the summer days are often in the 90's. I've worn them this winter, nice and warm. On the warmer days, they are very comfortable, not too hot on the feet at all. Nice, aggressive tread, extremely comfortable and stylish looks. I feared this would only be a winter boot, but I know that it will serve me well all year round. My question was standard or thermo? You will be pleased with either. In my opinion, the thermo will be more versatile in the long run. Not much difference between the two styles. Enjoy them as I am!
