"Looking forward to snow!"

Feels like it will be warm enough. Has a different feel on the bottom, but for snowshoeing it shouldn't matter. I ordered a 1/2 size up from my regular size which makes them the same size as another pair of Merrells I have. I'm slightly concerned that it might be a bit snug with a SmartWool or similar sock, but after break-in I think it will settle to size.

"Gave me blisters"

I was very disappointed with this shoe. To my dismay, within a day of wearing them, they gave me bleeding blisters on the back of my ankles. Furthermore, they were only "comfortable" after a few miles of hiking, after which my feet began to ache. The only good part it that perhaps that they are durable, although I don't plan on continuing their use to find out.

"merrells rule"

This shoe is strong and sturdy and comfortable with lots of room in the toe bed. The color I recieved is not exactly blue but more like a violet blue. I like everything about it. Good for uneven rugged terrain. Merrells are the greatest! I own two other pairs.

"A Winner from Merrell"

I have been using the CTR Cruise this summer and have found it to be an absolutely excellent footwear system.

Terrain: packed trail, rocky trails, rock

Pros: Sure Footed Traction: The shoe absolutely plants where you put it, especially where it is critical like steep descents. I have had problems with buckled ankles and have landed firmly when running on uneven terrain with the CTR. Most importantly, the sole material and design is very grippy and has the give to form around bumps, stones and rock points-absorbs shock beautifully. Featherlight but with structure. The shoe doesn't give when side planted; it's firm and reliable. Comfort and breathability is top shelf. Looks are sharp and not overdone in terms of styling. Get some and you will not be disappointed.

"Good-quality sandals"

The Saugatucks are comfortable and a lot more supportive than the strappy types of sport sandals. They fit true-to-size and appear to be well-made. I have only two complaints: they are rather warm in hot weather, and there is an odd slight ridge near the front of the midsole. The ridge bothered me a bit at first, but now does not. The outsoles are great on land; I haven't tested them on slippery rocks in the water yet. The odor-fighting treatment appears to work. Merrell seems to make good products.By the way, I also love my Merrell Moab Mid hiking boots.

"Very good looking"

These are a good looking boot. A little stiff, but I am sure when it gets cold again and maybe a little snowy, they will be just fine.

"Very comfortable - excellent traction"

Just got my Merrell Yarra boots. I have been wearing them all day and LOVE them! I needed a new pair of boots to replace my Columbia Bugazip boots. I wanted a different style that still looked cute with jeans and could hold up to a little snow play. I have other Merrell footwear and these boots are right up there with high quality and comfort - it's like they were made for my feet! I read some other reviews that said they ran small but in my experience they are true to size.

"A little tight in the calves for me"

I came late to showshoeing, first time and first season for a new sport. Arrived in less than a week, shipping free - yes!. Warm, dry feet on my last snowshoeing adventure, but still a little tight zipping them up, so a bit of a struggle. I'm actually a size 8, so I was ordering up a half size, but it was the top of the boot that was tight, not the toe box. These babies will be getting a workout--maybe they will loosen up a bit.

"Would fit most, but not me"

I love the style and the convenient front zip! Unfortunately, I have very wide calves, so it was uncomfortably tight and difficult for me to zip, but would probably fit most other people. Also a bit stiff in the heel. I wanted them for everyday winter activities, sledding, shoveling, etc. and they were a little difficult to walk in, but I would have kept them if they fit me better!
