"Not what I ordered the first time! "

I ordered this turtleneck a few months ago and it was perfect. So I reordered two more. The are NOT the same. They must have changed manufacturers.

The fabric is not as soft. the cuff and neck elastic is very, very tight, and they are cut much more slim-fit. I checked the size twice and they are exactly what I first ordered.

I know these cannot be the same brand as the stitching is even different. I am very disappointed to have to inferior shirts when the first were so great.

"Perfect Wool Sweater!"

I was on the hunt for a warm wool sweater, and I was unable to find one locally. Thank goodness for the Internet, which led me to Peter Glenn. This Meister sweater is perfect - gorgeous and fits well. I must have worn it every day the first week I got it! Service was excellent.

"Did not fit well, was not made as well as in previous years."

I have been buying this particular turtleneck from Meister for years now. This year, Meister changed the fit and the construction. I wear a men's small, the new Meister version of a men's small is very long, looks like a mini-skirt (it fit perfect for years). Also, the construction isn't as well done as in the past. The wrist cuff is now just a small stitch, it used to be a 2.5" cuff that kept the sleeve from hanging out from under my ski sweater.

"Nice sweater "

This is a very nice, lightweight sweater. The sweater is very beautiful and soft. It is a bit more delicate than I had hoped for, as either my ponytail holder, part of my jacket or helmet picked a very large area on the back just under the collar.

"Very long"

The fabric was just fine, very comfortable. Length was overwhelming; came to mid-thigh even though I am 5'11".

"So soft and the neck is nice and tight!"

Meister turtlenecks are awsome! The cotton is super soft and the necks are tight and long. They keep their shape and wear like iron!

"Great sweater for fit, feel and look"

This is the 2nd Meister sweater I've owned. These sweaters are worth the price. The quality and feel is very good. The mix of wool/acrylic is perfect for warmth with no itchiness. I wear mine for skiing and casual dressing. I bought the first one 5 years ago and it still looks good. I wash them in the washing machine inside, lay flat to dry and they turn out perfectly. The fit is crisp and classic and looks good under a ski parka. These are the best ski sweaters I've owned.

"NOT preshrunk"

I measured the length of the body before washing for the first time (it had not even been worn at all - straight from the package). After one wash and dry cycle, the length shrunk 2 inches. The length of the sleeves also shrunk by the same amount. Fortunately, they let me return it for a full refund.

"Comfortable, however not consistent"

I have been buying these shirts for close to 20 years. I wear them till the sleeves start fraying. Have noticed that the weave and weight varies every few years. Latest purchase (two weeks ago) have larger shoulder seams than in the past and the sleeves and shirt tail are longer than in the past. Shirts continue to shrink slightly after continued washings but then maintain their shape and fit. Buy larger than you think you need. (I am trim but buy large which settles in at a med/lg. Black stays black, but navy tends to lighten after several washings. Made in Pakistan and has been for some time now. Very well made and durable.
