The quality is excellent. I love these boots for several reasons: I can slip my boots on without using my hands or sitting down (which is great because I am gimpy). When my feet are inside them, I feel like I am walking on clouds. They are incredibly warm and soft. There is no discomfort of any kind with these boots. I don't have to break them in first before I can enjoy them. They don't slip on wet surfaces or snow. In fact, I love my new boots so much I built a special boot rack on my wall above the wall heater to keep them dry and warm for whenever I need them. These boots are perfect for winter year round. They are not just for snow. In woman's shoes I wear about a 9. But because of a review I read here, I knew to order a size up. 10's are perfect. :)
My partner purchased these during the winter of 2010 and wore them practically every day. They are warm, well insulated, and the best feature is the easy on/easy off velcro strap. The Peter Glenn staff told me that they are washable as well.

As soon as I received these boots, I noticed a problem with the stitching that connected the upper to the rubber outsole. The upper did not sit correctly in the channel and the 3 rows of stitches overlapped, thus essentially making only 2 rows of stitches. I filled the bathtub with about 5 inches of water and stood in it for about 10 mins. When I took the boots off, my feet were wet. I don't fault Peter Glenn for this. I fault Kamik's lack of quality control.
I had a pair of the Kamik lunar boots from about 3 or 4 years ago that I loved and unfortunately they got lost. I was trying to find a replacement, but these have the Velcro instead of just pulling on. I have only worn them around the house, but they seem a bit bulky and loose around the ankles. I am going to keep them as I hope they will work out.
great winter boots, everything I wanted. however the left boot wasn't made as well as the right, something slightly off with the inside sole. I would have returned them, but we had a late winter snow storm and I needed to use them. Except for this fit problem, they are what I need for the winter in upsate NY.
My wife says these feel like slippers and are warm enough for most winter tasks. She has worn them snowmobiling on "20s to 30s" days and had no complaints even though she has normally cold feet. We thought size was pretty close to true.

I ordered my exact size and when I first received these boots they felt snug on my feet and the zipper on one boot was somewhat sticky. After wearing them a couple times, the "thinsulate" lining flattened out and they fit perfectly. A little silicone foam, applied with a Q-tip, cured the sticky zipper. I have shoveled snow for an hour in 7 degree weather and my feet stayed toasty warm. The zippers stay up when zipped. These boots are as comfortable as my shoes. Absolutely great!
These are the best childrens boots I have ever tried. They keep her feet warm and dry and look absolutely adorable - I wish they would continue this exact boot with the snowflakes on the adjustable ankle strap and fur around the leg opening!
Very warm! They will be perfect for the cold winters in MN! Quality product! We got the pink ones for our 6 year old. I followed other reviews and purchased 1 size up which worked out great since they do run a bit small. My daughter loves them! Very happy with our purchase!
